What is Spray Foam Insulation?

For our spray foam applications, we use Thermoseal open and closed cell foam from Spray Foam Polymers. Open cell spray foam is commonly used for interior walls, as it can help with sound reduction. Closed cell spray foam is much denser, serving as an ideal water vapor barrier in both indoor and outdoor applications.

Using spray foam in conjunction with fiberglass batt insulation — commonly called “flash and batt” — can make for an overall more complete air barrier.
